It has a steel outer shell, polypropylene lined water reservoir, heavy duty butyl diaphragm that flexes, leak proof pre-charged air chamber, reduces pressure build up & harmful pressure spikes in closed water systems, temporarily absorbs expanded water overflow. It is UL listed and has a maximum temperature of 200-degree Fahrenheit. Comes boxed. Deep drawn steel domes with durable finish. Adjustable air charge fitting with protective plastic cap for air-tight seal. Factory pre-charged at 40 psi. Maximum working pressure of 150 psi. Maximum working temperature of 200° F. Safe for domestic potable water use. Satisfies plumbing code requirements. Protects water heaters, fixtures and other appliances. IAPMO and NSF complaint. Limited 5-year warranty.
